It reminds me so much of Jamaica! Even the colours on the flag! I would love to visit one day! Looks like you had a blast. I like that there are options that are not too touristy! Great pics too!

I was in Joburg for 2 weeks few months ago and I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t go anywhere but Rosebank lol. It’s not the danger that puts me off because I have lived in countries with high crime rates (Belize, Mexico, Cape Town and also Philippines) but it is the fact that it’s hard to go anywhere without taking an expensive Uber. I was over 200 rands away from places I wanna go and was always too tired. I wish I have seen this article before. The Apartheid Museum looks interesting and the Soweto tour.

I hear you. Joburg spreads out and it takes you ages to get from one point to the next one. Going by uber is an really expensive way of getting around. If you visit Joburg again go on a tour with the Red Bus City Sightseeing. It covers all the important spots you need to see and also it´s quite cheap as you can hop on and off for the entire day or even 2. I think it´s something about R200.
